American visual artist best known for his paintings of idealized female figures. Studied at the Art Students League in New Yrok. He was also a magazine illustrator and many of his depictions of ethereal appearing goddesses were on the covers of Vanity Fair. Later, he became a skilled etcher. . Lived/worked in New York
