Anne Youkeles, is an Austrian-born American artist who creates three-dimensional abstract works using paper, plastic, and canvas. She
studied at the Kunstgewerbe Schule, Vienna and, after emigrating to the United States, studied at The Ohio State University. In the late 1960s, Youkeles turned to abstraction. She aims to incorporate elements of sculpture in her work through her use of three-dimensional techniques, like the folding of plastic in this work of art.
